Charles L. Gates Jr. - M.D.

Dr. Charles Gates has been practicing urology in Coeur d'Alene since 1977. He attended the University of Iowa Medical School and completed his Residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Utah. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Gates is married and has three grown children. When he is not in the office or the operating room, he enjoys seasonal sports, such as fishing, hunting , skiing, and golf.

Edward D. Ellison - M.D.

Dr. Edward Ellison has been practicing urology in Coeur d'Alene since 2000. He attended the Medical School at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, and completed Residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Ellison has a special interest in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
He is married with four children, and when not taking care of his patients, he enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors of Northern Idaho.

Chad A. Peterson - M.D.

We are pleased to welcome our new urologist Chad A. Peterson, M.D.
Dr. Peterson completed his urology residency at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, skiing, and mountain biking. Dr. Peterson will begin seeing patients in our Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint locations August 4, 2009.

Marti Stow - A.R.N.P

Marti Stow, MS, ARNP, BC, CNOR; is a Nurse Practitioner who has a Master's Degree in Nursing from Idaho State University, as well as completion of their Family Nurse Practitioner program. She is nationally board certified through the American Nurse's Credentialing Center and also in the Operating Room. She is a current PhD student at University of Idaho and is a also a graduate of North Idaho College (ADA), Lewis-Clark State College (BSN), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (DipTH) and attended University of Kentucky.
She is married, and they have two children. When not in the office or operating room, she enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and dog Max.
